On a special note to you all:

We do NOT allow Hotmail, Yahoo, or Netscape email addresses to be used when adding a new resource to WebRunner. The reason for this is simply that although YOUR email account using these services is likely very credible as you are an honest sort, Many are NOT!

These email addresses are FREE for anyone for the taking. Being that they are FREE accounts, they are often used as a SPAM BASE as the owner knows they can simply delete their email address and setup another one in a few minutes.

Owners of these email addresses also typically do NOT check their mail all that often and their mail boxes fill up and result in Un-Deliverable mail bounces back to a receiving server..

I personally dont wish to chase around a bunch of Un-Deliverable email on our servers and I typically would find the source of the mail and delete that account from our servers so that we dont create an un needed burdon on OUR email servers.

Besides these FACTS, you should also know that MANY companys actually DO automatically delete email coming from these free email accounts automatically for the same reasons!

You may say to me (and I do get this a lot), Well, I have never had a problem before using this email address with any other company! WRONG! I can amost guarantee that if you are using a Hotmail, Yahoo, or Netscape email address for your business correspondences that you ARE loosing more business than you would imagine!

Let me ask you this simple question.. Which company would you prefer to do significant business with. Sales@affordnet.com OR maybe 12Glsammy5@Yahoo.com ?

Of course Sales@affordnet.com is FAR more professional, and FAR more likely to inspire confidence in virtually ANY other business or client you are trying to do business with.

ALSO, you can NOT use a Yahoo, Hotmail, or Netscape email address for secure commerce as they wont even issue you a Digital Cert if you do try to use one of these.

You are by far better off using your REAL email address your ISP gave you, OR your Domain based email address for ANY business uses, and use your Yahoo, Hotmail, or Netscape email addresses for signing up to various online programs, purchasing things on the net, or chat rooms, discussion boards, or for use at certain other Site Submission services.

We do NOT expire your links at WebRunner (like many others do) which simply means non working email addresses will keep bouncing around our systems until we simply must delete that site from our database.

In addition, we hand approve or diapprove each listing at webrunner. This helps to ensure a really NICE place to surf on into for the entire family while providing a highly relevant and productive Search and find experience for the user..
